One of our favorite things about using Superconductor is that there are so many agent options to choose from. Superconductor currently supports 8 coding agents: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Amp, Factory Droid, OpenCode, Pi, and Grok Build. Many of them offer multiple models and reasoning-effort levels.
Having access to lots of agents is awesome:
- You can use different agents or models for different types of tasks (i.e. Fable for your website redesign and Haiku for fixing typos in your blog posts)
- You can compare and benchmark a variety of agents on your codebase to see which coding agents work best with the way your team writes code
- You can launch multiple agents on the same ticket to get several implementation options (i.e. five options for your product walkthrough video instead of one)
The downside, though, is that with this extensive menu of options (and new models being released every week!), it can be frustrating to quickly find the agents you want.
We revamped our agent picker to make agents easier to find.

- Agent list. Every available agent is one click away on the left. A badge shows how many runs you've picked from each one for the given ticket or chat.
- Search across agents. Type "sol" or "opus" to filter models across every agent at once.
- Effort levels next to the model. Pick Medium, High, or Extra High right on the row instead of scanning for a separate profile.
- Star your favorites. Star the model-and-effort combos you use most, and they appear in a Starred tab at the top.
- Add variants. Run the same agent with different models or effort levels side by side, such as two runs of GPT-6 Sol at High and one at Medium.
An example
Say you want a variety of agents to take a stab at generating a new chart for your website splash page. Open the picker, click + on your starred Opus 5.5, type “sol” to add Codex, and type Kimi to add Kimi K3. Within a few seconds, you can launch all three agents and then compare the images they create to see which one you like the most.
