Cursor
Run Cursor agents in Superconductor.
Cursor is a multi-model coding agent. Superconductor lets you run Cursor in the same cloud dev environments as your other agents, so you can compare its work on the same tickets and benchmarks.
Credentials
Configure your Cursor API key at the Project or Workspace level.
You can create a key from the Cursor Dashboard.
Your key gives Superconductor access to Cursor's models and agent — not to the rest of your Cursor account. Cursor runs in a Superconductor cloud environment, not a Cursor Cloud Agent, so Cursor's own automations and reporting don't apply. Everything around the agent comes from Superconductor and works the same as it does for any other agent: MCP servers and skills, artifacts like screenshots and video, live preview, and automations.

Cursor supports models from multiple providers:
Cursor
- Composer 2.5 - Cursor's default coding model
- Composer 2.5 Fast - Faster Composer profile for lighter changes
OpenAI
- GPT-5.6 Sol (XHigh) - The most capable GPT-5.6 option, with extra high reasoning
- GPT-5.5 (High) - GPT-5.5 with high reasoning
Anthropic
- Claude Opus 5 (High) - Most capable Opus-tier model for complex reasoning
- Claude Opus 4.8 - Previous-generation Opus, still available
- Claude Sonnet 4.6 - Balanced performance and capability
- Gemini 3.1 Pro - Gemini through Cursor
- Gemini 3.8 Flash - Google's newest Flash model through Cursor, for fast iteration
xAI
- Grok 4.7 Low / Medium / High / Extra High - Cursor and xAI's frontier model, with reasoning effort baked into each profile
Other
- Auto - Cursor chooses from available models based on the request
Limitations
Some Cursor models currently have an issue with the PostHog MCP server. For now, when you run Composer 2.5, Composer 2.5 Fast, any Grok profile, or Auto, Superconductor excludes PostHog from the MCP servers sent to Cursor. Other configured MCP servers still work, and PostHog MCP remains available for the rest of the Cursor profiles. This is a temporary limitation while we work to fix the issue.
