Amplitude
Connect Amplitude so agents can query your analytics and manage charts, dashboards, and your tracking plan.

The Amplitude MCP server lets agents query your product data and work with your Amplitude content.
For use cases and example prompts, see Amplitude for AI coding agents.
What is Amplitude?
Amplitude is a digital analytics platform for product analytics, experiments, feature flags, and session replay.
What agents can do
Once you connect Amplitude, agents can:
- Query events, funnels, and retention
- Read and build charts, dashboards, and notebooks
- Manage cohorts, experiments, feature flags, and metrics
- Add, edit, and delete events and properties in your tracking plan
- Look up users and session replays
Agents can only see the projects your Amplitude account can.
Deleting tracking plan events or properties on your main branch takes effect right away, and some deletes can't be undone. Tell agents when they should only read.
Setup
Amplitude connects by signing in with your Amplitude account. There's no API key to create.
The connector uses Amplitude's US server. Amplitude runs a separate server for organizations with EU data residency, which this connector doesn't connect to.
Go to Workspace Settings → Connectors (or a project's Connectors page) and click Connect on the Amplitude card (or Connect another to add another account).
Step 1: who the connection is for
Choose Me or Workspace as the owner, then choose where agents can use the connection. The default is Me, with In my private chats selected. Enable In projects separately and choose All projects, including future ones or Some projects. Anyone with access to those projects can use the connection, including in sessions they launch themselves. See connection options for what each choice means.
Click Continue.
Step 2: sign in with Amplitude
Click Continue to Amplitude. Amplitude asks you to authorize Superconductor for the organization you're signed in to. Click Authorize, and you land back on the Connectors page with Amplitude connected.
Agents then act in Amplitude as whoever signed in. If you enable In projects, anyone with access to those projects can use that account — so sign in with an account whose permissions you're happy to share.
Reconnecting and disconnecting
If Amplitude stops accepting a connection, the Connectors page shows a Reconnect needed badge on it, and agents run without Amplitude.
Click Manage next to the connection to fix it. There's no key to replace: the page shows Account connection: Connected and, when something's wrong, a Reconnect Amplitude button. You can only reconnect a personal connection you own; for someone else's, Superconductor tells you who to ask.
Disconnect also revokes Superconductor's access at Amplitude. If Amplitude doesn't confirm the revocation, Superconductor tells you so. You can then click Revoke All Tokens under Settings → Security → OAuth Tokens in Amplitude, which also disconnects any other apps you've signed in to Amplitude with.
When to use it
Ask agents to use Amplitude when a ticket depends on how people use your product, or when your tracking plan needs to match your code. For example:
Check in Amplitude how many users finished onboarding last week, and where the rest dropped off. Before we remove the old export feature, check in Amplitude how many people used it in the last 30 days.Troubleshooting
Agents can't see a project
Agents only see the projects the connected Amplitude account can. Check in Amplitude that the account has access to the project, or click Connect another to connect an account that does.
