Monday.com
Connect monday.com so agents can find, create, and update board items, post updates, and create docs.

The monday.com MCP server lets agents read the item behind a ticket and keep it up to date as they work.
For use cases and example prompts, see monday.com for AI coding agents.
What is monday.com?
monday.com is a work management platform where teams track projects, tasks, and requests on boards.
What agents can do
Once you connect monday.com, agents can:
- Search and read boards, items, and updates
- Create items and change their column values, such as status
- Post updates on items
- Create and read monday.com docs
- Run monday.com API queries and changes that the other tools don't cover, such as deleting an item
Agents can only do what the connected monday.com user can do. Their calls count toward your monday.com account's daily API limit.
Agents can delete items and docs, and updates they post appear right away under the connected user's name. Tell agents when they should only read.
Setup
Go to Workspace Settings → Connectors (or a project's Connectors page) and click Connect on the monday.com card (or Connect another to add another account).
Step 1: who the connection is for
Choose Me or Workspace as the owner, then choose where agents can use the connection. The default is Me, with In my private chats selected. Enable In projects separately and choose All projects, including future ones or Some projects. Anyone with access to those projects can use the connection, including in sessions they launch themselves. See connection options for what each choice means.
Click Continue.
Step 2: how agents reach monday.com
The second screen has two tabs: monday.com account and Access token. Pick one.
monday.com account
Click Continue to monday.com, review the screen monday.com shows, and click Authorize. You land back on the Connectors page with monday.com connected.
Superconductor isn't one of monday.com's pre-approved apps, so a monday.com account admin has to approve it first. If you're an admin, clicking Authorize also approves it for your account. Otherwise, see Troubleshooting.
Agents then act in monday.com as whoever signed in. If you enable In projects, anyone with access to those projects can use that account — so sign in with an account whose permissions you're happy to share.
Access token
Use this tab if you'd rather paste a token than sign in. In monday.com, click your profile picture, select Developers, then open API token and click Copy. Paste the token into the monday.com API Token field and click Connect monday.com. Agents act as the monday.com user the token belongs to.
Reconnecting and disconnecting
If monday.com stops accepting a connection you made with monday.com account, the Connectors page shows a Reconnect needed badge on it, and agents run without monday.com.
Click Manage next to the connection to fix it. A connection you made with monday.com account has no token to replace: it shows Account connection: Connected and, when something's wrong, a Reconnect monday.com button. You can only reconnect a personal connection you own; for someone else's, Superconductor tells you who to ask.
Disconnect removes the connection from Superconductor. For a monday.com account connection, it also revokes Superconductor's access at monday.com. An access token keeps working until you click Regenerate on monday.com's API token page.
If you regenerate the token, paste the new one into the monday.com API Token field under Manage.
Troubleshooting
- monday.com blocks the connection: follow the message on its screen. Admins approve requests and restore access under Administration → Connections → Dynamic connectors. See monday.com's dynamic connectors guide.
- Agents don't have any monday.com tools: check the Connectors page for a Reconnect needed badge, and reconnect.
When to use it
Ask agents to use monday.com when a ticket starts from a board item, or when work should be tracked on a board. For example:
Read the "Checkout redesign" item on our Product board and plan this ticket from its description and updates.Add an item to the Bugs board for each failing test you find, with the error in an update. When the pull request is ready, set the item's status to Done and post an update with the link.Summarize what the Marketing team finished on the Q3 Campaigns board this month.
