Treg
Connect Treg so agents can discover and call tools for research, enrichment, and media generation.

The Treg MCP server gives agents access to a tool catalog and your team's registered tools through one connection. Agents can inspect a tool's inputs and price before calling it.
For use cases and example prompts, see Treg for AI coding agents.
What is Treg?
Treg is a catalog of tools for agents. It covers thousands of tools from many providers, such as search and SEO data, people and company enrichment, web scraping, and image, video, and voice generation. Your team pays per call from a prepaid balance, so you don't need an account with each provider. Your team can also register its own tools and provider credentials in Treg.
What agents can do
Once you connect Treg, agents can:
- Search the catalog by task and inspect tool parameters, prices, and provider options
- Call tools for web research, search data, people and company enrichment, and media generation
- List your team's registered tools and use the connections available to that team
- Check the team's prepaid balance and list provider resources such as voices
Paid catalog calls spend your Treg team's balance. Your team's own provider credentials can also be used through Treg. Anyone whose agents can use this connection can call tools available to that team, so choose the projects and sharing options accordingly. Ask agents to estimate costs and wait for approval before batch calls or media generation.
Setup
Go to Workspace Settings → Connectors (or a project's Connectors page) and click Connect on the Treg card (or Connect another to add another connection).
Step 1: who the connection is for
Choose Me or Workspace as the owner, then choose where agents can use the connection. The default is Me, with In my private chats selected. Enable In projects separately and choose All projects, including future ones or Some projects. Anyone with access to those projects can use the connection, including in sessions they launch themselves. See connection options for what each choice means. Then click Continue.
Step 2: how agents reach Treg
The second screen has two tabs: Treg account and Access token. Pick one.
Treg account
Click Continue to Treg, sign in, select the Treg team to connect, and approve access. You land back on the Connectors page with Treg connected.
Agents then use that team's tools and balance. If you enable In projects, anyone with access to those projects can use that account — so pick a team whose tools and balance you're happy to share.
Access token
Use this tab if you'd rather paste a key than sign in. Create a team API key in the Treg dashboard, for the team whose tools and balance agents should use. Paste it into the Treg API Key field and click Connect Treg.
Both methods connect to Treg's hosted MCP server, so you don't need to install the Treg CLI.
Reconnecting and disconnecting
If Treg stops accepting a connection you made with Treg account, the Connectors page shows a Reconnect needed badge on it, and agents run without Treg. Click Manage, then Reconnect Treg, and sign in again. For an Access token connection, click Manage and paste a new key.
Manage is also where you change a connection's project access and sharing options.
Disconnect removes the connection from Superconductor. For a Treg account connection, Superconductor also asks Treg to revoke its access. If that fails, follow the notice to remove access in Treg. For an Access token connection, revoke the key in Treg if you no longer need it elsewhere.
Troubleshooting
- Authentication fails: reconnect the account or replace the team API key. Check that you still belong to the selected Treg team.
- A paid call fails: ask the agent to check the team's Treg balance and the tool's price. Add funds in Treg if needed.
- A registered tool is missing or unavailable: check that you connected the right team and that its provider connection is still valid in Treg.
- Agents can't see Treg: check the connection's project and sharing options. Start a new session after connecting.
When to use it
Ask agents to use Treg when a task needs outside data or generated media that your other tools don't cover. Paid calls spend real money, so ask for an estimate first. For example:
List the tools our team has registered in Treg and tell me which ones could pull last month's ad spend.Use Treg to look up the company size and industry for the 20 domains in this CSV. Estimate the cost first and wait for my approval.Generate three voiceover options for our product demo script with Treg, and save them as artifacts.
